Warsaw 2009: Sessions

Climate Change Survey: substantive and methodological issues

Planned on Tuesday, 8:30 - 10:30 in Room 2.3.

Coordinators:

  • Eugene Kritski; GlobeScan Incorporated, Canada

Description:

Climate change is one of the most important issues being discussed today. It is a topic where sound scientific knowledge needs to be combined with political, social, economic and management elements in order to be properly addressed. Climate change surveys are deemed as useful tools in order to allow a broader understanding of the different aspects of climate change and in assisting in the search for solutions for the various problems associated with it.

This session will discuss methodological issues related to climate change surveys as well as the substantive elements related to it. It will gather participants engaged in survey design, execution and evaluation and discuss possible ways to promote links between the various actors engaged with climate change surveys.
